Overview
WeLearn is a dedicated platform for Canadian online students, simplifying their search for qualified tutors. With its user-friendly interface, it offers features like 'Instabook' for instant tutor connections and allows students to create custom listings based on their academic needs.
My role as the primary developer involved using Expo to build a consistent application experience across both native and web platforms. I focused on features that would enhance user interactions and ensure smooth academic exchanges.
Key Features:
- Instabook: Quick and direct bookings with tutors.
- Chat: Direct communication with tutors before sessions.
- Custom Listings: Students can set their study needs, inviting tutors to assist.
- Q&A Community: A space for students to ask questions and get prompt answers.
WeLearn's aim is simple: make tutoring accessible, efficient, and digital-first for Canadian students.
